Meet the Founder

Dr. Salma Tewfik, PharmD, BCPPS is an accomplished pediatric pharmacist and the founder behind KidRx. From an early age, Salma's passion for helping others, especially children, always took centre stage. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy from Bernard J Dunn School of Pharmacy at Shenandoah University, and is a nationally Board Certified Pediatric Pharmacist (BCPPS).

Recognizing that a healthy society is a society that prioritizes its most vulnerable, she decided to start KidRx not just for pediatric patients, but also for women's health. In her professional experience, she wanted to create a safe space for women to come forward and discuss their health. With an extensive background in medication management in both children and adults, she is an consummate professional who's licensed in several states as well as two countries (the United States and Canada), and is immunizations certified.

In addition to her personal achievements, Salma enjoys hiking and swimming, and is an active professional musician and composer. She is also an active mentor for pharmacy school students and residents.
